I've had an Application with Patagonia pending for about 6 months now. WTF ?

I'd rather promote this brand than any other brand in the mens/womens clothing categories from any network, yet, it seems that no-one is really managing this account.

Anybody have any luck getting approved to their program !?

LOL ... I signed up with a merchant the same day I signed up with Shareasale. It still says "pending."

Have you tried to contact them directly?

Got rejected awhile back, they are only looking for outdoor sites. Probably better promoting their brand thru other merchants.

They take forever to look at your site and then seem to reject it if it doesn't have a silly EPC. I sell plenty of Backcountrystore.com stuff in the season (through my outdoor oriented store), but have twice applied to Patagonia - to be rejected twice.

Smacks of an AM who doesn't know what they're about and has to jump through hoops "What's the EPC?" but forget about the actual sales volume. BCS also sell some Patagonia stuff and are MUCH more affiliate friendly.

My site was rejected and Cabelas is one of my top performers. I was pending for AGES, contacted them and I was rejected. Some merchants are really silly. They are so picky, they don't even realize who will send them sales. And even if they approve people they don't *think* will sell, why would anyone pass up free advertising? Duh.

What network has Cabela's? They look like a nice merchant to work with.

    Thank you!

Patagonia have a particular business culture which means they are *very* picky about who they are associated with. Potential sales probably isn't their priority when approving (or not) affiliate applications. So I wouldn't take a rejection personally - they're not a typical business.
