Scheduled site downtime June 9, 4:30 PM - June 10, 1:00 AM PDT

Due to system upgrades, the Commission Junction Account Manager will be unavailable starting at 4:30 PM Pacific Time, June 9, until June 10 at approximately 1 AM Pacific Time.

Tracking and recording of transactions are fully functional when the site is unavailable. When the site returns your reports may be delayed for up to 24 hours. If there are any changes to this schedule we will post them to the site to keep you informed.

    Oh, goodie goodie! Another upgrade!!

I wonder how long it will really be down this time.

I wonder if tracking really is fully functional during down time.

I wonder what features they will be removing that are helpful.

I wonder why they have to have so many upgrades.

I wonder why they have to keep shutting the site down for upgrades, I don't see other sites doing that.

If the past predicts the future, look forward to some low sales days.

I don't think tracking is fully functional right now.
My CJ stats are the worst they have been since about a month after I started with them.

I was still getting sales a few minutes ago:
    System Time: 8-Jun-2004 07:18 PDT
    Posting Date: 8-Jun-2004 07:17 PDT
Not sure it will last after the next upgrade.

PS: All transactions were posted with a delay less than 1:00H

what I don't understand is, why portions of their system have to be taken down all the time. best practices calls for running machines or clusters parallel to each other and cutting them in when they are ready. now that assumes, of course, that this is a fairly modern system.

What! downtime June 9, 4:30 PM. The downtime is starting tomorrow! It's not during a week-end.
I've such a poor experience of their upgrades than I'm getting mad even before they start.

Since I am having a slow month with sales, I don't mind if when they take the site down tomorrow, they leave it close until next Monday and since the tracking is not affected, maybe by Monday when I check again I would have some extra (green pesos) in there.

I'm getting a "Connection was refused..." message when trying to connect to CJ. Is this the down time trial run?

You're not alone, cdc. CJ stat is way behind today. No CJ sales generated today, while other networks pumped in good dough.

I have not had a sale since 2:45pm pacific time, which is unusual for me, but since i have not heard a lot of people complaining, I just thought it was a fluke??

How do I post this WITHOUT joining the conspiracy theorists (merchants turn their tracking back on during these updates)

The last two sales on my report were from merchants I've never registered a sale with - not ever!

    HAS to be a coincidence...

I have heard others state the same thing BillyKay and I've experienced it first hand.

It's all a plot by the man to keep an affiliate down.

I'm sure I'll eat my words because I posted this before they go down, but I've got to give CJ credit. Since the February problems that went on for weeks, CJ has been very stable.

I think they learned a valuable lesson in February. Let's hope the upgrade will go quickly and smoothly.

Well, I did not look at stats since the scheduled down time until just now and it seems everything went fine with this upgrade.

    Congrats, CJ! Good job!!

(Todd, anything new they did or just fine tuning this time?)

I certainly hope they aren't done posting the transactions. So far, two of the worst CJ days this month if that is all.

Tell me about it baby!! But I suspect that they will "claim" that transaction posting is up to date.

are they down again?.. or is my computer screwed up?.. I went out of town last week and was able to access befree via my friends computer, but now that I am home I can't get through again, I get the same messages that I was receiving last week.

I cleared my cache, deleted cookies, deleted all of the cookies in the cookies folder, deleted all of the extra folders that IE creates. Tried to access; got the same error message; tried to access with Netscape, same error messages. both browsers are set to check for new versions of the page every time I visit.

    Thank you,
