    A CJ Advertiser has a JAVA exit popup and I'm not familiar enought with this -- Could someone look at this (it's located in the head of the popup) and let me know if they could be resetting cookies?

    <script language="JavaScript" src="/js/cookie.js"></script>
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
    var checkcount = 0;

    window.name='ExitPopUp';

    function finishclick()
    {
    setTimeout('window.close()', 500);
    }

    function checkPage()
    {
    var inSite = Get_Cookie("Domain");

    if (inSite == null && checkcount < 20)
    {
    checkcount = checkcount + 1;
    setTimeout('checkPage();', 500);
    }
    else if (checkcount < 20)
    {
    var today = new Date();
    var expires = new Date(today.getTime()); // Now
    Set_Cookie("Domain", "", expires, "/", ".theadvertiser.com");
    self.close();
    }
    }
    </script>

    Thanks

    Are you sure, this isn't the current javascript attack going on with some websites?

    I don't think so, The javascript is in the exit popup from the advertisers web pages and is written by them.

    Not sure if it's going to affect things if they reset their own cookie. They could do that through means other than JS anyway.

    They're not resetting the CJ cookie, which I believe is the one you need to worry about.

    // Set_Cookie("Domain", "", expires, "/", ".theadvertiser.com");//

    Is this only the merchants url or the qksrv address?

    It's only the merchants URL.
