While trying to track down the @#$#% affiliate who sent me a spam today, I ran a search on Google with "qksrv" in it. You gotta see this. Three people are actually buying "qksrv" in AdWords.

I like how it lands on some random product listing for something called 'qkr' under Hunting & Archery. They must be using a program to buy their Adwords because this looks like a systematic keyword purchase.

Yeah, Deb, that was the one that got my attention. The thing is, how many people are going to search on "qksrv" or know what it means? Also, the product sold by that particular company was listed (not sure if it still is) on doxdesk.com for having some nasty features.

I really feel my sites serve a legitimate purpose.

Some offer coupons so customers can save money. Some offer a one-stop-place of related items so shoppers don't have to go to different stores.

To paraphrase Mike and Charlie, I feel I DO put value in a customer's click.

BUT, we have Norton accusing me of being bad and blocking my CJ banners and links.

    And now this:

    # Qksrv.net: 1.0% of all pest reports
    More Info
    Clot Factor:
    # Qksrv.net: On average, 1 objects detected in each machine

The "Clot Factor" is a measure of how much a pest "gums up" a machine by adding registry entries, files, and directories. As more objects are placed in a machine, manual removal becomes more difficult and more error-prone.

    Now I'm a pest.

Now I'm being accused of gumming up people's computers.

    Aargh!

Well... at least it pays well!!!!
