Wow put it online 24 hours ago and already got a lead. I'm stoked. Does GoToMyPC pay extra monthtly or yearly for customers who stay that long? Just curious. To more leads hopefully Also I"m thinking about buying a laptop after I reach my goal and thinking about getting GoToMyPC at that time so I can have access to my home computer when I'm traveling for business purposes. Does anyone have any information about GoToMyPC are they a good service as a service?

    Hey Jason,

I never tried GO2MYPC, however, our main company tech support staff and outsourced resellers use a software based program like it called VNC and it's free, very nice and helps with faster set-ups on DUN's, etc for our customers. I'm sure go2 is just as nice.

    Have fun,

    Jason,

I've been using it since "it was invented!"

Frees me up to work from anywhere - like Disneyland.

Never had a problem. (Except when cable goes out and I have to call a neighbor from wherever I am and ask them to reboot my computer!)

    The AM (Ben) is great.

And the commissions - as you already found out - are a hec of a lot better than the $1.39 we make selling something for a clothing store!!

LOL Jason. Those type apps have been around long before their was a WWW. Porblem with GotoMyPC is they piss off shoppers with gorilla advertising just like X-10 did. Spam farms love them as a alternative to viagra and penis enlargements and get out of debt schemes. Try competing Jason from your lovely content -pre-sell spin pages touting GoToMyPc with the 1 billion Ads they serve this month.

Glad to see some posts about GoToMyPC.

Yes, the GoToMyPC affiliate program was accidentally deactivated by CJ. It happened at Sunday, 8/8, at 11:55 AM PST. Unfortunately this resulted in all GoToMyPC ads served by CJ being directed to an error page for almost 21 hours (program was re-activated Monday at 8:45 AM PST).

Yesterday we uploaded bonus credits to provide affiliates with compensation for the value of the clicks they attempted to deliver. The affiliates who received a bonus were those who had a reasonable chance of earning a commission based on the amount of traffic they sent. Individual bonus credits ranged from $15 to $500.

This was paid for by CJ as a make-good since the error was on their side. The odds of the GoToMyPC account being deactivated by accident in the future are extremely low.

We're committed to every affiliate who promotes GoToMyPC to being rewarded for their efforts and we're available to help anyone who has a special request.

Special offers we have running this month include a promotion for those who will be affected by the traffic gridlock in NYC associated with the Republican National Convention. We ran a similar promotion for the Democratic National Convention in Boston last month and it was very effective. If you can reach New Yorkers, login to CJ and pick up our special link. The "Get Links" keyword for it is "RNC".

If there are other traffic gridlock events in your area that warrant a special promotion just let us know and we may be able to put something together for you.

We're close to achieving a goal of paying 100K to affiliates each month. If you have a way to send us more traffic please let us know.

I will be out most of next week but my colleague Aydin Karadeniz, aydin.karadeniz@citrix.com, will be available to help.

Additionally, you may even try using a RHUB remote support server for remotely accessing computers from anywhere. It works well.
