Ok what happened? I logged into CJ and when I create links for any program I seem to get random urls that work but is this some new strategy by CJ?

I cannot seem to post them here they get replaced by **** but go look for yourself. Go to a merchant and create a new link does it look different or am I just losing it here?

Anyone know of anything? Is this a bug? The links work but I am just trying to understand does this mean we gotta change all our links?

Also, do not publish the link URLs. The less said about them and any other changes we have made, the more effective they will be for you.

To ensure future system growth and functionality, Commission Junction is expanding the domains we use to serve ads and track clicks. Your program(s) will not be affected and no action is required. Your existing links will continue to work as expected. Please note that going forward all link code you obtain while using get links will contain new domains.

Sorry Haiko. I wasn't trying to break any rules. I just was wondering if it was a bug. I will not post any urls. Not that I was able to get any posted anyways hahaha

Thanks Todd for all the info so far and so quickly. Would you recommend we remake links for all our programs? To add variety etc?

    Thanks!

Todd can we take ONE Of the common servers and do a find and replace for our entire site and they will work, or will we have to go in and generate links for each merchant? Thank you, this is awesome!

Yes, you can use any new ad serving URL and any new click URL and replace their respective domain.

I just did a find and replace across a couple of older sites from back before I started to do redirects. It should be interesting to see the impact that this has on sales.

It's great to see that CJ is taking these steps in the right direction. Thanks Todd!

All of my eBay links result in:

    The page cannot be found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

    Please try the following:

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Open the cgi.ebay.com home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
Click the Back button to try another link.
Click Search to look for information on the Internet.

HTTP 404 - File not found
    Internet Explorer

    What's up with that?

    Todd,
I noticed when getting links that the click URL is different than the tracking pixel img URL.
When I do a find and replace on my sites, will the click and img URL need to be different, or can I take any ONE of the new domains and use it for both the click and img domains?

    Thanks
