Hey, new to the world of affiliate marketing... is it possible to get into any of the big 3 affiliate networks, or independants without having a website yet?

    Thanks!

Have yet to see any program that lets you in without a website.

What's the purpose if you don't have a website?

The plan was to design the site around the affiliate program offered by a network. Hey, maybe it's a silly way of going about it...

    Just curious.

You should get one site up and going. You may find it difficult to rely on a single program - can you offer something more than the merchant if you only represent them? If not, why would browsers come back to your site? Lead programs can work with a single merchant, but if the owner changes terms, you can lose ALL or nearly ALL your revenue in a day (believe me it happens!).

Once you have a site and are in a network, you can add other customized sites without opening another account.

    eeprom:

Just build something, a few pages, whatever. The networks will have just about any type of merchant you can imagine, so whatever you build will be relevant.

Just try putting “will construct site for this program”

Many merchants would be delited to have you FOCUS on them.

If it were me, I’d put you on a watch list until your site was completed.
