    Yes. WebMerge works with exported data from nearly any spreadsheet or database program.

    If OO offers a format like Word Merge that's your best option as it preserves the field names from your database. But you could use any common delimited format, such as tab-delimited.

    You have to save out your data as a comma/tab/pipe/etc delimited text file first - OOo's default format is XML-based.
