I am trying to create a "menu" file that lists all the product categories and links to those. I am first creating a "list" template that generates these links, but it generates them with the product group name repeating for as many products that are in that group. I can use the tag that only generates the link if the "name" changes, but then it leaves spaces in the code.

Here is the latest code I am trying to use:
    [WM-Record width=550 cols=3]
    [WM-IndexLabel: PRODUCTGROUP]
    <font size="2"><a href="http://www.widgets.com/widgets/[WM-FIELD: PRODUCTGROUP nolink].html">[WM-Field: PRODUCTGROUP nolink]</a>
    </font>
    [/WM-IndexLabel]
    [/WM-Record]

Then I run Webmerge again using different templates to generate list files using the PRODUCTGROUP name, and detail files are created as well.

I then want to include the "catagories" file using SSI onto those pages.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is there no easy way to do this at this time?

I never realized how hard this would be to explain in writing! Hope it is clear enough!

It's not straightforward in the current version, but I can make a new tag for it.

What would you like included in the menu? And what do those items link to?

I am not certain what others need but I would find this convenient.
    Eg.
    Body jewelry site.
I have broken down my feed to sterling silver, Glow UV, and gold belly rings.
I would like to be able to set up so it would take them to the index page of sterling silver index. strlingsilver/index0001.html The link to gold belly goes to gold belly index.0001.html etc. Maybe it does already but I haven't been able to figure it out.
So I would need the capability to use record fields to be able to manufacture a series of names of the menu links and point each one to it's specific index page of those particular products.
Was that as clear as mud the way I described it?

or just catagories &gt; name products that would point to large-red-widgets.index
