Enabling WebMerge to create multiple hierarchy levels could be one of the most important features of WebMerge 3.0.

It might be helpful, therefore, to poll current WM users on HOW MANY HIERARCHY LEVELS SHOULD WEBMERGE 3.0 BE ABLE TO CREATE?

Since the definition of levels, may vary by user, for the purposes of this poll, please use the following definitions:

TWO Levels: Home/Main Index Page and Detailed Pages

THREE Levels: Home/Main Index Page - Category Pages - Detailed Pages

FOUR Levels: Home/Main Index Page - Category Page - SubCategory Pages - Detailed Pages

FIVE Levels: Home/Main Index Page – SuperCategory Pages - Category Pages - SubCategory Pages - Detailed Pages

SIX Levels (or MORE): Home/Main Index Page – SuperCategory Pages - Category Pages - SubCategory Pages - SubSubCategory Pages - Detailed Pages

I voted for four levels. But with the option of skipping one level because some don't have that many levels.

Or maybe more levels with the option of skipping several levels. Then one can choose for themselves.

One should have all these options at least :

    index > detail pages
index > subindex > detail pages
index > subindex > subsubindex > detail pages

    It shouldn't be 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 levels but
    2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 levels

IMHO, it should open with two levels, then there should be a button or whatnot to add a level tab..

So then if you want three, you hit "Add level" once, but if you want five, you hit it thrice, etc..

Any would be great, but 3-4 would be immensely helpful asap

The good news is that the changes needed to WM's generation engine to support three levels in a single pass will just as easily accommodate any number of levels. The bad news is that coming up with an interface with the flexibility to do that is hard without greatly increasing the learning curve for newcomoers. I'm working on it, doing work on three alternate designs....

I don't mind beta testing and giving feedback if that will help. Since I am pretty new I can give advice on how it is seen from new eyes. I have a couple of sites under my belt, so am not a total newbie any more and can give decent feedback. And I know you have some very experienced users that would probably be happy to test your ideas too
