Is it possible to use PHP extensions on the template files?

I have header and footer "inc" I'd like to use.

Also, consistently I'm getting 10 records done in 2 minutes. Is that about right?

    Thank,s April

why wouldn't it... if you build templates with inc headers and footers...

this is what I plan to do...

1,000 Records per minute is what I am running on my laptop (ThinkPad T30).

Something may be wrong if you are getting that build rate (10/2 minutes).

    Should be much faster.

WebMergedoes provide a WM-Include tag, but it uses a form much closer to the simpler syntax of FileMaker Pro rather than PHP.

If that doesn't do what you need feel free to suggest a new tag with the syntax you'd like. Everything in the program since v1.0 has been driven by customer requests like yours.

Definitely not normal, as WebMerge generally takes far less that a second per page (often just 1/10 of a second or less).

In cases where I've seen unusual processing times it's usually been theresult of an incorrectly-written tag in a template, or inappropriate delimiter settings in WebMerge's Sources tab. Please double check those, and if you don't find thesource of the trouble please drop me a note. If you write, please include the sytstem profile information you can get in one quick step from Help->System Info.
