I've just spent 2 days tweaking this feed, I tried breaking the categories down into four-Cat>Containment>Homes_Furniture_n_Scratching_Posts>Homes_n_Furniture
    into:
    Cats
    Containment Homes_Furniture_n_Scratching_Posts Homes_n_Furniture

It won't work any way I sort it unless it is in original form.
Fine, now how on earth do I add links on index page? In it's original form it gives me a whole huge page of 4 column links, probably one to each product.

Is there a workaround? Is it worth my time? Or should I toss the feed?
I'd hate to do that because the product selection is the best of the 3 pet feeds I have, but I just may have to!
    Thanks!

    Debbie,
I don't think I understand what you are wanting to do. Do you not like the names of the categories? You can always use the find/replace feature of Excel and name them whatever you want to call them.

no, its all one category! I tried to break it down as category, subcategory etc, then the feed did not work right, it linked to items it shouldnt have.
If I leave it whole, the links work perfect, but how in the heck do I put any of that on the index page?

Here is one thing you need to be careful of when working with Excel - when you sort, make sure you have selected everything. Otherwise, you will rearrange your categories and subcategories that you created. Excel doesn't automatically keep the line items together as a set.

It sounds like a lot of work fixing this feed. Is it large? My thought is that you are going to have to redo it everytime you get a new feed from this company.

So I'm finding with Excel. Problem is, I'm not too saavy with it, only been working with it for 5 weeks

Webmerge is a logical snap compared to it for me!

The feed isn't huge, I cut it down alot to just dogs and cats instead of birds, cats, dogs, small pets, reptiles, fish (get the picture yet? lol)

I'm hoping to get a different affiliate for my pet stores with comparable selections like Petwarehouse, waiting for my approval.

I've done 15 seperate feeds in webmerge so far, all are perfect except this one, it's a royal pain!!!!
