ALL,

    Life Happens!

We had 30 logos sent for the last call for ABW merchandise ... and currently only THREE people resent thier logos to AlexBet!

We have some really cool, and I mean cool items! Now ... lets send those logos!

    Haiko

    ALL,

Logos MUST be sent in as big format as you can for raster format files, or they should be sent in a vector based format.

    Acceptable file formats are:

    FOR RASTER FILES

.PSD - Adobe Photoshop

.BMP - Windows bitmap

.GIF - CompuServe GIF

.EPS - Adobe Photoshop EPS

.JPG - JPEG

.PNG - PNG

.TGA - Targa

.TIF - TIFF
FOR VECTOR FILES

.AI - Adobe Illustrator

.EPS - Encapsulated PostScript

.EMF - Enchased Metafile

.CDR - CorelDraw 5,6,7,8,9,10

.FH4, FH5, FH7, FH8, FH9 - Macromedia Freehand 4,5,7,8,9

.EPS - Adobe Illustrator EPS

.SVG - SVG

.WMF - Windows Metafile
NOTE:Vector based files are preffered because of their resize capabilities. Please DO NOT import your raster images into a vector based program and then just save that image with a vector extension. This is no good cause the raster image is still a raster image. Vector based files that ARE accepted, are the ones that were completely developed in a vector based program like Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, or CorelDraw. Please try to avoid very transparent shades or colors because they might not look good on the printed area. Raster images should be as big as possible.

Preffered formats are: .AI - Adobe Illustrator, or .PSD - Adobe Photoshop

Paint Shop Pro users note: Please do not send .PSP files. You CAN export your image from PSP into one of the raster formats mentioned above.

If you have ANY further questions, please do not hesitate to PM me.

    ALL,
    NOTE!

I had a couple of instances that people sent me raster images in vector format. This is NOT true vector format. I have mentioned this before, but let me explain it a little better.

I would appreciate if you sent me your logos in (true) vector format, but raster also known as bitmap format is ALSO ok. Here is what some people do.

They send me vector format files with raster (bitmap) images inside. There are a couple of ways that they can do this.
    1) They import their logo into a vector based software and then export it like a vector file.
    2) Their graphic software supports the export of vector file formats, so they export it like that to a vector format file.

    Let me tell you something...
DO NOT GO THROUGH ALL THAT TROUBLE!!! If you don't have a TRUE vector file of your logo, then just send me the raster (bitmap) one. NO PROBLEM!

    There I cleared it.

My logo image does not conform to your requirements since obviously you seek a logo the size of a full sheet of paper. My Photoshop or PaintShop Pro programs are not raster imaging products. Guess I'll have to pass since a blowup in a .jpg format looks horrible and you guys only work in desktop publishing formats.

    Hi all,
Just my second post here, I pm'd my graphic to hiako I hope that was right. Any place in particular I should start posting?

Lou from GoCollect sent me here and looks great! I see a thread there by him, guess that would be a starting point.

Mike, I'm really sorry to hear this. I don't make the requirements myself. They are printing requirement and I have nothing to do with it. We are looking to make quality merchandise. Your logo may fit on a mug, but when resized for a t-shirt!?!

Mike, please send me your logo as it is, and I'll see what I can do with it. Just, please make sure you give me the clearest copy of your logo. Thanks.

Hi All, I'm new around here. Is it too late to send in a logo? Mine is 340x50 and is in GIF format, is that ok? I will be willing to rework it if necessary. Thanks Sal
