I've had a sum total of two sales with PosterNow (I'm not promoting them really, they're filler on a couple of pages) and both sales were extended within a couple of hours of being made.

I've pulled their links (poster people being easy to replace), but wonder if this is the norm or did I just hit two "lucky" ones in a row?

Nope. it's not just you getting lucky. They've done that to us on every sale we've made via our sites. When we complained about it, they acted like it was no big deal.

We'll see.

CJ says it's a merchants right to extend if they chose ... But it dosnt look good to Publishers.. It's your right to dump them too!!

Thanks for the info -- you'd think a poster merchant would be more obliging to affiliates, there are just so many of them!

They're off the featured pages and when I get a moment, they'll be off the other pages... and as soon as those sales move into the paid column, dumpity-dump-dump.

Dave's right... they have rights, I have rights.

Have you looked at "art.com"? I have been doing pretty well with them.

They are not on CJ but have their own program.

Speaking of other poster merchants: allposters.com and art.com. A totally cool tool for allposters is another cusimano.com script: allposters.pl. Tweek templates, run the script on the categories you want, and boom, pages and pages of poster links. Big deal? Okay, now think about putting some links in those templates to some of your other similarly themed pages or sites. Nice.

Anyway, the allposters.pl script is free for signing up under the script author at http://www.cusimano.com/scripts/
Check out the requirements, including command line access at your host.

BTW, David Cusimano tells me he earns about $100/day at allposters.com.

Thanks, everyone.

Yep, art.com is the replacement. I don't sell a lot of posters (they're mainly filler), but I signed up with art.com when I first started this gig and went nuts signing up with waaaaaay too many merchants.
