I'm not impressed so far, the data seems a little stale... rebates done etc. Plus they seem to have dropped lots of Desktops and Notebooks... they have only 4 Desktops in the feed this week, less notebooks than before and no plasma TV's

    I know they don't respond to e-mails.
I sent one on 1st August via the CJ mail system. No reply as yet. Doesn't exactly give me confidence in their program.
I'm glad they auto-rejected me, saved me the bother of wasting time building a site for them.

Brick-n-Mortar pure play advertiser. They want leads and e-mail addresses for their inside telemarketing corporate sales departments. You can bet some computer illiterate Ad wank runs their program on auto pilot throwing out an occasion coupon to the commission sharks.

Heh, I got turned down at Performics, but accepted at CJ, haven't put any links up yet, but I noticed when I was looking at their site, I got a were sorry we're restocking our virtual store message. I was wondering how often this happened, since this one was right in the middle of the day.

CompUSA stinks. The monkey running their affiliate program does not respond to email. They don't convert. I suspect their old build-your-own links do not track.

Is 1 out of 100 clicks average?

Yup Brian, not good here either... very sporadic sales, good at the beginning of the month and then almost none! Can you say "Tracking Switch" ????

TJ, I didnt say it was that bad. Hey BTW I am catching up to you. Check out these updated stats.

    Sales 17
    Clicks 1557
    Impressions 545

Hey TJ how is it that I am registering impressions when I never added any of the cj impression tracking code? Is that a parasite leaving an evidence trail?

I dont believe parasites will show impressions for you.... I added a banner to each page "just in case" to conform with some ppl's beliefs that you need to show more impressions than clicks (Doesn't help the sales though

Individual item links definitely do not track. I've confirmed with my own purchases.

I guess the few sales I have been getting have been just mysteriously placed there then.

TJ, It seems every time I post an update of my stats I get a sale or 2 so here is my latest stats update.

    Sales 20

    Clicks 1765
    Impressions 643

Well, I am now extremely impressed. *COUGH*
My grand total in clicks before CJU was 1,765 clicks and 20 sales. Over the past three days I have had OVER 2000 CLICKS and ZERO sales. SO in closing, my theory that if I posted my stats here I would keep getting sales has gone into the crapper . Back to the drawing board.

Has anyone ever asked them to host their own merchant discussion board here?

I don't believe they like to answer their emails so I doubt they would join us here!!

BTW, NO improvement in sales... they must still have tracking switched off:
    23 Sales 4,913 Clickthru's

    What a dissappointment!

I am guessing here but maybe this clickthru anomaly I am experiencing is due to one of the products or more in one or more of my datafeed sites being out of stock. Not just out of stock with this merchant but OOS everywhere. Hence everyone is looking for "it". What "it" is I have no idea cause there is no simple way to track it. Would be nice if someone from there who is reading this figures out a way to "redirect" OOS pages to a comparable in stock product. May help with conversion.
