The only problem I've had with shareasale is the pay per click option.
What I wanted to accomplish is paying for clicks to a certain part of my site not just any click to my site. The lead option does not work because it continues to register a lead everytime it is shown and would add up to tons of extra leads.
I believe many merchant programs would benefit from having this pay per click option.

Why not partion the portions of site as subdomains (eg. abc.searchany.com) and let them link in that way?

yeah, that could work...
im gonna look at some more options here, and see if i can't get back to you with a solution....the best way i suppose would be per lead...and i am thinking that it would work that way...we protect against duplicates during a 24 hour period (duplicate leads) ... but i want to look into a couple other ideas...ill get back to this..

we protect against duplicates during a 24 hour period (duplicate leads)
A way for the merchant to control the amount of time between duplicate leads would be awesome.
