Hi Brian (or people with shareasale programs).
I was just wondering what kind of information is available to merchants who don't auto approve accounts for their program. Do they know how much we have earned, how many imps, clicks, conversions, etc or do they just have access to our personal details and urls when they review an application.
I'm not worried about privacy issues, I'm just curious.

Merchants are given the following...
Your main listed URL, any additional site URLs that you use.
Your status at shareasale.com (Either OK, or ONHOLD) OnHold is bad...that means you have tried fraud, and will soon be removed...so most of the time this just says OK
Your Membership Level ... either FULL or LIMITED. Everyone starts out LIMITED, until they reach $20 in valid leads or 1 valid sale transaction. FULL members can participate in PPC programs.
Your orginization name
...and I think that is it...
looks (a little bit) like this...
Membership Level: Full
[B] Quick Look at shareasale.com
Affiliates Membership Level: Full
Authorized to apply for any type of program including all
pay-per-sale, pay-per-lead, and pay-per-click.
Affiliates current status: OK.
All is well, and there are no active suspected fraud reports on the account.
Main Listed Website:
Last Refered Page (Page where they linked from): IP Address
Last Agent Used (Type of Web Browser): Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; Q312461)

i like your idea though...
we will soon be posting network stats such as an earnings ratio, and may include some of what you said, in terms of number of clicks, etc...
sorry for the ugly above...good though, bad execution by me...may not try HTML on here again.

Thanks Brian, I was just curious to know whether an affiliates performance level was part of a merchants decision process.

If they are from the wrong country that's all I care about with my program, there are "wrong" countries did you know that? But I won't name any countries in case I get assasinated

What if someone is from the "wrong" country but has a good website(s) that is written in english, their status is ok, their membership is full and they target the countries you are targeting?
Do you sill reject their application?

Your site is great and I doubt any merchant would drop you!
That being said, I and I am sure others have learned quickly where the fraud/BS originates from ... and has blocked those sites / countries
PS. Fellow Merchants, have you seen the "Ad Network" one of the scammers (US listed) offer? ROTFLMAO!

Thanks for the kind words Haiko, but I wasn't referring to my site or country in particular. I was just wondering what are the varying factors that merchants consider when they choose an affiliate. I didn't realise what country you come from could be a major issue (although I have heard about Russain sites being affected by this).
Can I ask what are the main countries that are considered "wrong"?
P.S - if anyones wondering why I'm asking these questions it's because I'm thinking about creating an affiliate program later in the year.

Having been through the ringer on ClickXchange  and Clixgalore double  I can honestly say that Brian has the best alternative to all ... he is, easily, number four!
Countries to be "Weary" of .... hmmm, I'll quote SIC ... http://www.clickthrutraffic.com/terms.html, not my words ... just an indication!
