Brian,
I've set up my merchant account with shareasale, however, I've run into a small roadblock. Basically, I'm trying to set up seperate commissions for our different hosting packages. If you look at our site, you'll see our packages (http://thmedia.net)
Our commissions won't be a certain percentage of each sale. I was originally thinking about a flat rate commission per sale, but somebody had suggested a good idea to us. How would I go about setting up (if possible) the following example.
Plan 1 commission would be $10.00
Plan 2 commission would be $15.00
Plan 3 commission would be $20.00
etc, etc.

Is this possible.

(ABW members...these above numbers are examples as I haven't finalized the exact commission on each package).

Good question...and it is actually pretty easy to do...

In the code that you are given for your 1x1 pixel, you see that there are two variables in there for this specific purpose...

perlead= and persale=

In your case...you are doing a persale program, so you'll use the persale= variable...

like this...

If someone on your site purchases a plan #1...

your tracking code would need to look like this...

https://shareasale.com/sale.cfm?amount=(variablefortheamountofsale)&tracking=(variablefortheordernumber)&merchantID=(you rmerchantID)&persale=10

for plan #2

https://shareasale.com/sale.cfm?amount=(variablefortheamountofsale)&tracking=(variablefortheordernumber)&merchantID=(you rmerchantID)&persale=15

for plan #3

https://shareasale.com/sale.cfm?amount=(variablefortheamountofsale)&tracking=(variablefortheordernumber)&merchantID=(you rmerchantID)&persale=15

If you were to leave the persale= variable blank, or not in the code at all, the commission amount would default to whatever you set in your account...

If this didn't make sense, feel free to call me and i might be able to explain better...

Brian,
Thanks for the fast response. It sounds easy enough...when I get back into the office today, I'll get that set up. Now I just need to get it flow with 2checkout

Brian,
Keep an eye out for a long drawn out, confusing e-mail

The issue in the e-mail non-withstanding, I have completed the entire sign-up process with the exception of the confirmation. I wanted to hear your response to the e-mail before I activate it.
