How long does a merchant have to credit and/or pay affiliates for their sales?

My understanding is that it is the 20th of the following month.

Don't tell me that I should contact the merchant. You are my contact.

We went to Shareasale.com and read Brians "when do I get paid" section.

It states: Payments are mailed out on or around the 20th day of the month, for the past months commissions, for all affiliates who have reached the $50 minimum balance.

If you made over $50 this last month, then you got a problem. Ultimately, it is the merchants responsability to pay you and not Shareasale.com which could actually put the vice grip towards the "non-paying" merchant in question. Brians new service start would be of great interest to see what he does if the merchant is questionable.

We forgot to mention that Brians on vacation for a short while as he posted. Wait until he gets back and see what he can do for you.

actually, as I understand it, it would be ShareASale.com that would be the one that pays (they cut the checks).

Merchants pay up front at ShareASale and must retain a minimum balance to stay active. So, if I understand correctly if you made the minimum commissions, you should have a payment due.

At least, that's how I understand it...I could be wrong.

    It appears Rodney is correct.

We went to Shareasale.com and read thru the Merchant section. This is what we found.

SHAREASALE.COM will pay your affiliates, using the money in your SHAREASALE.COM account

Once your site goes active on the shareasale.com service, there are no refunds of the setup fee allowed. If you choose to cancel after going active, only your deposit (used to pay your affiliates) can be returned to you after the expiration of your "Tracking Gap", as determined by your setup (min. of 30 days).

    Then under definitions:

"Your Account" means a separate, specific account within the Service that is debited based on Your Commissions and Commissions paid to SHAREASALE.COM"

    AFFILIATE PAYMENT

SHAREASALE.COM will pay your affiliates, using the money in your SHAREASALE.COM account. Affiliates receive a Commission for sending You authorized sales, leads, and/or clicks via Your Links. Payments are made automatically on the twentieth (20th) day of each month when the Affiliates account balance reaches $25 or more for the previous months' transactions.

    Deelz,

which merchant...let me know by email and ill work on it. for those merchants that update sales manually, we push them to do the updating on a regular basis, but as you know some of them fall behind.

To all, we pay the affiliates, with money already recovered from the merchants.

    Thanks,
