    Hi,

I want to sell software on my page. Outside Europe customers can pay with credit card. Pressing the buy button they are routed to a paypal site to finish the order process. Paypal does the whole credit card billing.

Can I use both paypal AND shareasale, so that on the one hand my customers can be billed with paypal and on the other hand affiliates get their money via shareasale automatically?

    Thank you

    Ferdinand

I think Shareasale is having trouble with pay pal at the moment, I'm not sure on this. Perhaps Brian can answer your question.

if you want to use paypal with your shareasale.com account, you have to have IPN setup on your paypal account. refer to paypal.com documentation on how to set that up. this applies for merchants.

affiliates are as of now not receiving payments via paypal, but by check....this doesn't affect the ability to use paypal on the merchant side...

    Thanks,

Thank you. Unfortunately I heard horror stories about paypals IPN setup.

Paypal is my current billing company, but I'm not fixed on it and would change it if necessary. First of all I want to run shareasale and find out an affordable billing company working loyal and faithful with them.

May I ask you about your experiences running shareasale with a credit card billing company.
    Any recommendations?

    Thanks
    Ferdinand

As you are in Europe, WorldPay is probably a good choice. You can accept payments in Euros, Sterling and US Dollars (plus other currencies if you wish to pay more).

Ferdinand- Although I will be changing the setup in the future, I just started an affiliate program at Shareasale, with PayPal. The setup was not bad at all. With Brian's help, it was up and running with a nominal amount of work.
