I noticed today that I have a handful of merchants in my account that are indicated as being Temporarily Offline.
What exactly does this mean? Any timeframe on when they may be back?
Should I pull my links to them?

Hello Michelle, I have to agree a lot of merchants are Temporarily Offline at shareasale, which I believe is annoying. i don't believe you will get credit for these merchants and I would stay away from merchants that become offline a lot. We are a merchant there and we are seeing great results right now from Affiliates and since we signed with shareasale we have become offline once (was away from the computer for about a week) Anyway Hope this answers your questions, Feel free to contact me by private message here, if you have any questions about shareasale, or merchants at shareasale.

Thanks for your reply Jason!
I ended us just deleting them from my site for now.
Thanks for the insight.

This is the message the user gets if they click the link and the merchant is Temporarily Offline.
I am not sure I like this as it looks as if my site is not working correctly.
I would be prefer to be notified some how so that I can do something about it.
The link is not currently active.
There are a number of reasons that you may have received this message. The most common is that the merchant who was advertising is temporarily not-actively promoting that program. If, however, you feel you have reached this page in error, please let us know. Shareasale.com does not tolerate or send any SPAM mail to anyone. If you feel you have been targeted by a SPAM message, we would appreciate if you could forward the message to us at abuse at shareasale.com.
Shareasale.com manages the relationships between advertisers and affiliates, which is why you were directed to our site. Since the link that you clicked is not currently active, you were not redirected to the site.

What bothers me is I get no warning if a merchant is temporarily offline. I did a lot of work adding Shareasale links, and then not long after I found that quite a few of them were temporarily offline.
This looks terrible for my site. I am trying to build a good site, and if I have links that do not go to the merchant, then surely that will look bad for my site.
I am still using some merchants from Shareasale. I have made over $70 from about 5 or 6 merchants. I just wish I could use them all and not worry about temporarily offline merchants.
It wouldn't be so bad if I was contacted every time a merchant was removed
