I just signed up a few days ago for the ABestWeb Affiliate Program.

It's supposed to pay $0.50 per Lead (recruiting of new members).

I had 5 Transactions so far and all show $0.00 as Transaction Amount and "Sale - username - " as Comment.

    Shouldn't it be $0.50? I don't understand.

I post it here, because Haiko was not very responsive to my emails and private topic lately, so I ask my fellow Affiliates.

    Thanks.

Payment gets cleared if the "lead" sticks around and makes 20 posts or something like that. So you don't really get paid for a "lead", you get paid for a "keeps coming back"

There are qualifiers that were put in place for a lead after there were problems with people doing fraudulent registerations. They do have to make a certain amount of posts to be a qualifying lead, although I don't think it's as high as 20. Can't remember the actual # now. Also, from my stats, it appears that he batches the payments, which makes sense if they have to make a certain number of posts. I'd rather see that then automatic pay on the lead and then a reversal.

I can say I've received payment on leads.

    Thanks for the info.
It would be good, if Haiko would clarify that.

We have similar protections in place (for our program), to protect us from fraulent registrations.

Some are just to confirm a lead (and we pay, once confirmed) and also tracking to detect unusual behavior. If fraulent behavior is detected, a warning is sent to the affiliate.

If it continues, termination of the program and reversal of all outstanding transactions.

Pay per lead is always risky. That's why are we not accepting Incentive Sites (Get paid to read emails and crap like that).

Currently on the SaS program I have it all zeroed out, that costs me more BTW, so that I can batch pay on the real leads. Posting requirements for a "lead" remain at 10 however I do give many a lead payment for posters who sign up and return. Payments for these leads vary from $0.50 to $2.00 each.

As I'm doing a few things currently, I didn't have the opportunity to answer your messages Carsten and I apologize for that. This coming week, I'll implement the other plan we spoke of.

    Thanks Haiko.

Keep me posted. Also about the Merchant Referrals.

Best would be to have a link that pays for ABW Members AND Merchant Forums, because most merchants start as an ABW Member and then decide to open a Forum, or use your Email Blast etc. once they determined the Value of your Forum as regular readers (Members).

I hope your program via myreferrer.com will be up soon and will consolidate ABW Member Signups and Merchant Activities .

... It's may be easier, if Haiko would have multiple Email Addresses for different purposes. ALL his Email communication is going to one email address. Haiko: How do you filter the email traffic?

I saw something interesting in the Stats for ABW at ShareAsale. I have more Transactions than Hits. Is there a bug in the Form, that it tracks signups twice from time to time?
