    HIya all

I am presently running my own Affiliate program on my site.

I am thinking of joining ShareaSale to get a wider range of affiliates who are serious in their work.

Here is my site : http://www.arabianbazaar.com

It deals with Perfume Oils and Arabian Attars.

Presently, I have only 50 products on my site and i'll increase it in future, for sure.
I am looking for feedback from Affiliates who might be interested in perfume oils. I am planning on Pay per Lead commission.

Also, I would like to get some info on ShareaSale?

I think you would get good results joining shareasale.

Others are more naturally drawn to us as well, and more inclined to help us reach our goals"

I would definately promote your site through SAS...Just don't be stingy on the commissions though. At least match what your in-house program offers.

Presently, im offering 10% commission on my in-house affiliate program.

I will move ahead with the same commission rate , if I get satisfied by SAS.

    Hiya Chris

    Regarding your question on OsCommerce.
I must say, that this ecommerce system is an excellent piece of code.

Its very simple to setup , only a few steps on installation and you are on the road. I never had any trouble installing and maintaining it.
After getting it up in January, I was playing with it and its code, I have got used to PHP now and how to edit the stuff I dont need and how to add according to my liking.

I officially launched in March this year. I havent had any problem with OsCommerce. Altough, one must certainly refer to the unofficial documentation , if one gets in a sort of trouble. YOu can get it .

    here http://guide.oscdox.com

Due to heavy requests from the people on the forums, oscommerce has launched official documentation. Get it here.

I would highly recommend osCommerce for your new site. As they have released their Milestone version. Though i am using Loaded 5.

Also, I will be joining shareasale in a week time. Although, i have seen a lot on this forum, that ShareaSale goes down a lot.

I am not sure as how it effects the merchants and the affiliates.

    Hi Farrukh

Thanks for the above links and feedback, I left you a post on the merchant forums too.

SAS has been down only once in the last 4 months to my recollection that had any effect on tracking, other than that I think there was only one other period of down time and that was a couple of hours.

All told though, for the cost and the fact you can contact your partners directly it is an excellent system

    Cheers

    Chris

SaS officially accepts MasterCard (EuroCard), Visa, American Express and Paypal.com for Merchants.

I don't think that Brian from SaS will accept Wire Transfers, but who knows.

He maybe makes an exception, but you probably have to send bigger amounts than the minimum Deposits for Credit Card or PayPal.com.
