    Hi All,

Irish Photo Shop conversion sucks, honest feedback needed from partners, what's the problem? Pricing, product identity, competitors? Speak your mind I've got to find a way to boost the conversion here

    Cheers

    Hi Chris

I'm probably not even in the equation yet, since Google killed my sites stone dead just as they were beginning to take off in a small way.

Personally, I think the prints are too expensive. They are nice, but I would think more than twice about paying $160 for a framed print.

I just took a look at the site. It is incredibly expensive. You can get a much better frame for a lot less money from somewhere like AllPosters or Art.com

I sent some feedback at the site about this.

    1. I think the site needs to push the Genealogy angle a LOT more.

    2. Need a conversion table of Old County names to New County names.

    3. Put a (Irish/local) Genealogist on staff and do framed or unframed documents for a fee.

Chris ...hook up with Akiva (Essential Apparel" and sell a line of GREEN ONLY underwear and skimpies to the "I'd rather do Irish than Fish" crowd. Then do a Irish Pin-up section for photo sharing. PS; Charlie has no problem passing himself off as Irish.

There is a big range in quality of prints offered, as well. The best (which are in the majority) are very good but some of them are just pictures of the village postman.

A long while ago I did a 'request a screensaver' and never received a reply, (after entering my name and e-mail address).

The above is meant constructively - the site has real potential.

Finally, I would concentrate on adding pictures for the counties which are listed but return no results found.

    Hi Guys

Thanks for the above, some good points raised, I also was thinking they were a little pricey. I'll be putting this together and banging it over to the client

Radegast no reply on the screen saver? I'll follow up on that.

    Cheers

    Chris
