The delay is decreasing, so they are catching up.

Unfortunately I'm starting to see the same pattern I saw yesterday. I hope there isn't a 7 hour gap in sales again today, which BTW was during one of my peak times yesterday The last or should I say first sale to roll in today has a 3 hour delay. I show a total of 9 clickthroughs on the days so far I don't think the click stats are being updated at all today

Delay is back to one hour. I don't care for the web site performance stats, they lag behind the sales.

    Hi Joe,

The latest information I read for the industry is that overall web holiday sales are up 19% to last year - I beleive that was on Internet Retailer.

I can share with you from the merchant's perspective that this is the peak week for those of us that rely on shipping.

This is mainly due to the fact that we are now meeting up with shipping deadlines.

Right now we are at the final stage of guaranteed ground shipping, if not just past it. Then you'll see demand flatten a little, only to spike again when we come up to the final day for 2-day shipping, and then overnight.

These events tend to spur the last minute shoppers into action.

Maybe you can use this information to your advantage and your visitors by posting last date shipping information for your favorite merchants? As merchants, we see a tremendous response when we send out "Last Chance for XX Shipping" emails the day or so before.

    Good luck and happy holidays!
    Best,
