    Hi Brian,

    What's the drill for bounced emails and for having aworking and active email account on SAS, just mailed out to all my partners and about 30 bounced back as dead/user unknown.

    This is a very annoying problem...i know.

    Problem is it is never ending. Affiliates must confirm their email when the sign up.... no confirm, no sign up.

    However, from there - things get out of control. people change their address, fill up their mailbox, etc...

    I go through every once and a while and clear bad ones out - but the number of bad emails coming back doesn't seem to decrease.

    Yeah Chris same here, We run into about 100 bounched emails too. Quite annoying.

    Hi Brian

    I had a guy apply to Pierced Body today, he must aleady be in SAS I guess, but his welcome email bounced.

    Maybe you could lock the email address, and only allow them to change it once they have X sales. I'm going to cull every partner with a bad email. For me it's just not acceptable that my 'PARTNERS' use emails that don't work.

    Communication is a two way thing

    NB Linkshare has the exact same problem, kinda sad considering the resources they have available to ensure that it shouldn't happen.

    the thing is, if they are new like that ... they have to confirm their email 5 minutes before they apply - and it doesn't bounce...and then they apply and it bounces. drives me nuts.
