Who wants to be a Beta tester for the .xml real time datafeed ... i need a few datafeed savvy affiliates... first come first served....

it would be nice if you already had a premier SAS account - but if not we can work around that.

    Thanks,

You are auto-entered Frank ... thanks to your Premier Merchant status... we are mainly going to be using those 2 programs for the beta ... i.e., scooters and body-piercings...

We need affiliates though to volunteer...

    Thanks,

Should I assume no interest in a real time .xml datafeed?

    Brian, Check your pms.

I think the main problem is that xml is even tougher than handling datafeeds. It's on my list to learn.

Yeah, not only that, but there doesn't seem to be an array of programs out there to make it super-EZ for nonprogrammers--unlike with standard feeds.

I'd love to use real-time XML feed. The main issue I see is to pain integrate XML feeds with other feeds (XML or text-based).

The business side of me thought about doing this at one time. I actually planned on adding that to Scripts 4 Your Site. But with all the flack I get over my normal scripts, I decided to say forget it. It just wasn't worth the headaches and being po'd over posts and emails.

    Where is the blazing spirit?

the .xml feed will be offered in .xml, which is WAAY easier and more flexible for power affiliates...as well as a boring delimited string which will be clunky, but usable.

the .xml feed allows you - in real time - to display a product image and info on your site at the point of purchase...

    lets see some innovation!

beta should be completed by the end of next week, and then i am going to be contacting all of the premier affiliates with a little primer on what the .xml feed is, what it can do... and how it benefits everyone.

    Thanks,

You want innovation? I got your innovation. Oh, wait, I can't show that here. I'll get banned and then I won't win the 200k post contest.

Brian, send me an email with the information and I'll try to look at it this weekend sometime.

As someone looking seriously at SAS for three new merchant sites, I would like to know if this XML option would be available for other merchants beyond the two you mentioned above, or did the beta fizzle?
