With a couple of activations today, we ended the day with 701 active merchants on the SAS system.

Well done to all of you affiliates who have been refering merchants to our network - and make sure to check in and take a look at all the new ones we have added recently... some very good stuff.

    Thanks,

    Excellent!

Surely there is even more money to be made in that little gold mine.

Mr.Merchant, if you do business in any way what-so-ever with parasites, your products will not be sold on my sites!!

Farewell, CJ! I loved you when you were young and pure. I will try to remember you that way. Disclaimer: Comments are to be interpreted as opinion unless otherwise noted.

wow! 700 isnt bad...how many affiliates do you have?

I have noticed that a lot of affiliates have signed up for my program yet have not added my links to their site. How long should I wait before I contact them about it? Is it normal to have a lot of affiliates sign up and then just not add a link?

I know the affiliates that have added links and marketed for me have done well. So how do I get all my affiliates to link to me?

I'm pretty sure that's normal, some may have a site planned but have much to do before getting around to it. Some may never link but thought at one time they might have but keep you around just in case they can in the future. Some sign up and forget so many reasons.

You can send your affiliates an email about some promotion or product that you know may sell like hot cakes worded in such away to get affiliates to link to it before it's over. If it does well you may climb their priority list.

Bear a title of "affiliate manager" means to manage the program for the merchant not "manage" the affiliates so you can't make them link nor should you terminate any so early just because of no links(yet).

Anyways that's just my perspective. Many may be doing this affiliate thing to be their own boss. Questioning their actions(not putting up links right away) could offend some. Affiliates don't sign up solely for the merchants benefit

Afterall, you're not paying them to "put up" links.. but rather a percentage of sales from traffic they directed through said links. There is no real obligation to link just because they signed up.... unless it was in the small print no one reads

    Hi, Brian:

    Congrats!

I've been meaning to apply to SaS for awhile -- primarily because of your firm no-parasite, no-spam policies. You've finally nudged me to get off my duff and do it.

My affiliate application is in and I'm hoping for approval soon.

Now that I've finally done that, of course, I'm eager to start making pages right away...

Hello, expect at lest a 6 month period as that's how long it takes on average to get high rankings in seo. Also don't terminate your affiliates because they may have a thousand things to do on there to do list (like me) before they can make a dedication site with your links. send a newsletter with special promotions once in a while, don't do it frequently as your affiliates may think your desperate. Also participate here and get to know the abw members here. there might be disagreements here, but don't be offended... as if it wasn't for abw, I wouldn't be getting thousands of sales a month right now, Learn and you will get results.. That's my 2 cents.. gotta go and work(more like fun)... on my sites.
