I am an affiliate of Shareasale, and I have referred a new affiliate to Shareasale.

Now he wants to sign up with merchants that I'm already promoting, and some say they offer a 2 tier program. How should my friend sign up so that I will get something for my trouble?

    Thanks.

I think as long as you signed them up to shareasale and they get sales, you get 2nd tier. hmm Back to work for me!

When you refer an affiliate to Shareasale.com - you receive 2 tier commission on their commissions.

To receive 2 tier commissions on individual programs - you would need to directly refer as user to join that program - i.e., through a link provided by the merchant. Instead of this link going to a product page, it typically points to the Co-Branded signup page for their affiliate program. If no such link is provided, you can build one using the URLLINK= parameter... to point to the signup page.

    Thanks,

The second tier commissions can really add up too if you promote shareasale to highly motivated affiliates.

I've been browsing ABW to find the best place to ask this question, hopefully some of you can educate me on commissions for two-tier programs. I am the Affiliate Manager for a large online t-shirt retailer and I was considering adding a two-tier program. What is the going rate for referrals? Any feedback would be great. Thanks for your help.
