Three of the merchants I am promoting using Saleashare has just received hundreds of clickthroughs in a matter of minutes.

In the stats page, no referrer link has been enetered or logged, just the amount.

Anyone else experiencing this or anyone any idea why?

    Thanks
    Steve

    Everything normal here.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out , and loudly proclaiming --WOW-- What a ride

That must be why they call him "speedy". Slow down your fingers, check your KB to make sure the 'enter" isn't stuck, or one of your PPCSE keywords just made you poorer.

Me too. About 350 clicks for one merchant on one day, I had thought it might be a rogue robot/site downloader.

I have a content site that touches a lot of people, both those looking for certain information and those who are listed there. I think I get days where some well-meaning person thinks I'm getting paid per click on any banner so they bang away to help me out. Of course, I hope they stay away from the adsense ads, especially.

Brian, sent the email with details and it was 4 merchants not 3. I don’t wanna get blacklisted as I have only just signed up last month!

Hey Mike or Charlie, which ever one is listening, it was my wife who nicknamed me Speedy, haven’t got a clue why ….. but she laughs when she says it

PPC, never done it and hopefully I never will have to, don’t agree with it personally. Good optimised ‘text based’ sites will never have to pay to get a good ranking. One way or another they will get to the top; it’s just a matter of time.

Brian runs a tight ship. He'll get to the bottom of it. Thank God it wasn't a PPCSE link getting banged.
