I found a single merchant that has SAS, oscommerce and pay pal all working together but he refused help - I get the feeling my program isn't going to be online any time soon

I'll just continue to talk amongst myself here.... anyone know a merchant who uses oscommerce with more than one currency available in their store?

That last question is probably better directed to the osc forums. I haven't visited in a while so don't know how helpful they are there at the present. http://oscommerce.com

You could also hang out at the http://creloaded.com forums, that is a version of osc with some mods added and usually only has serious developers and merchants in the discussions.

I'm looking at using ZenCart ( http://zen-cart.com ) if I have to set up a program outside of Cafe Press and since you are selling a lot of items not available from CP I see why you need a separate program.

Zen cart would more than likely have the same Pay Pal issue.

I've tried oscommerce forums... the guy who made the pay pal ipn module has given it a try but it's just not tracking..... well, it is, but not the 10%.

Unfortunately it also takes 10% of Australian dollar orders (but the lucky affiliate gets the full cut in US dollars), so affiliates would effectively be getting 15% whenever anyone orders in AUD which isn't how it's supposed to work.

Right now whatever currency a sale is in, it adds a single cent to the balance.... wouldn't that make people happy (not!).

So it's a PayPal issue and not a shopping cart software issue?

    Hi!

    Actually, it's not ALL ShareASale - it's pet-warehouse links that aren't working.

No, it's both kinda.... it's the way oscommerce handles Pay Pal. We can't get it to submit the order total to SAS - I doubt anyone with osc and pay pal is properly tracking those sales.

Hey SamyT, you been emailing me and I will try to help you out now.

I am trying to get to the bottom of the problem for you.

The code I have starts in checkout_process.php and when you hit checkout_success.php it throws the info to SAS. Did you include your code in the checkout_success.php?

Also are you using only paypal for payments? If so then try to add the checkout_success code only to the paypal_notify page instead.

I am sure with some tweaking you can get this to work how you would like. I can get ANYTHING to work with OSC.

I didn't think anyone, including Harold, could make this statement with a straight face!!! osc is wonderful software, but it isn't perfect...

But you told me your Pay Pal payments only add a penny to the balance at SAS.... so you haven't been able to get it working either!! I've seen your site, Pay Pal is displayed in a large graphic as a payment processor so you must be dealing with it somehow.
