Not only is Shareasale's site down, the affiliate links don't work and graphics aren't coming up on our pages either.

Well crud! I was just getting ready to start adding some new merchants to my site, and of course they are all SAS merchants.

Here's to hoping it comes back up soon!

Well that's the pits. Thanks for the quick answer. Awhile back I couldn't get into certain sites such as ShopNBC and found out that my router had blocked them.

    Still Down.

Last time I was in was 8:05 EDT

I hit Submit during an update of a welcome email in the Edit Program Details then all of a sudden I got an error. Down ever since. Not kidding. I did not mean to do it.

    Hope it's back soon

At CJ, they'd know it was down.

And they'd get it right back up too

LOL!! Yep, SAS has a better over all track record as I recall. I just hope there is a back up guy to get it back up.

I wonder if it has something do do with the recent site hijacking or whatever it is that has been going on the last couple of days.

I'd bet Brian has a service that notifies him if his servers fail or the site doesn't resolve. And he probably also left contact info with that service.

Poor Brian. Takes a vacation and look what happens.

If it makes anyone feel better I did see a sale get tracked for one of my merchant clients through SAS as I get emailed everytime there is a sale and one came through tonight so hopefully things are okay on that front.

Akiva, I was thinking that too. Brian leaves for a few days and things go to pot.

hbcouple, I don't think that a boat trip to Canada is on the other side of the world from his company.

Anyway, Brian must have a technical staff that can fix it while he is away. If they can't, then when Brian gets back maybe he should look for a new technical staff

I wasn't saying Brian was on the other side of the world - I was saying that we couldn't see the Shareasale site from where we are on the other side of the world

Before i find that shareasale is down today.

Something strange happen to my account.
all my SAS refer links go to a page saying the merchants may be inactive.

Then i try to log in to my account.
Get a message saying my account is deactivated due to fraud.
I cannot wait but removed hundreds of SAS links from my site as fast as i can.

But later i also discover their site is down.

    My question is :
My account deactivated, is it due to their internal error or they truly deactivated my account ?

That sale must have come from someone who was looking at a cached page because none of the SAS links are working at all, or it was a sale generated before SAS went down. They can't see the merchant's site, they can't buy anything. All we get is "page cannot be displayed".

I sure hope Brian left someone in charge so they can get it back up soon. SAS has been up and down all week. Murphy's law I suppose... Brian goes away and so does the site! lol
