    Hi all,

Sorry if this has been answered before but I couldn't find the exact information about it. Even not in the sticky datafeed FAQ.

Are these the right column names for SAS datafeeds:
    -------------------
    ProductID
    Name
    MerchantID
    Merchant
    Link
    Thumbnail
    BigImage
    Price
    RetailPrice
    Category
    SubCategory
    Description
    Custom1
    Custom2
    Custom3
    Custom4
    Custom5
    LastUpdated
    -------------------

I think all the merchants use Category and Subcategory fields to state their store's position in SAS category structure. I mean, i.e. on Nature Hills datafeed we see "Home/Family|Garden" as "Category|Subcategory" for all products. Should I always look at Custom1 and Custom2 to see the category and subcategory of each product? Or does it change from one merchant to another?

And another question. There is a column after "LastUpdated" column on datafeeds and all I can see is "instock" on this one. Is it possible to see a "not in stock" product on one of these datafeeds?

Brian or anyone familiar with SAS datafeeds, I especially need your comments about these questions but any other comments will also be very appreciated.

    Thanks already.

Custom1 through Custom5 are merchant specific, a lot of merchants use them for category structure, but some use it for other types of info. The data at the end is a stock info, and should say "instock" if the item is in stock. other values will indicate if the item is out of stock, discontinued, etc...

    Thanks for the info Brian.

Now I think all I need is to practice with more SAS datafeeds.
