    Hello,

My name is Todd Walsh and I'm one of the partners in a company called HWH Resources. We signed up with Shareasale a few days ago.

So far we have no real sign ups... the expectation was that we would have 20 good affiliates within a couple months. We're wondering how to get something going here.

How do YOU recruit affiliates? Are there magazines, directories, e-zines, etc.. that you use?

    Any feedback would be appreciated...

    Welcome to ABW.

If off joining any network doesn't make an affilaite program...

I joined your program to see what you offered...(because I have financial services websites) not much!

Look around ABW there are serveral other companies offering your services.. most have learned they need to offer affiliate the tools to be successful... not merely a few banners and text links..

Just remember only 10% of yor affiliates will ever do anything...

And they will do it on their own as "individuals" creating unique content.

    Thank you for your feedback...

I guess the question is, what else should we offer?

Most affiliate programs that I am familiar with offer very little in the way of services beyond links of some type. We don't want to be just any program. We would like to offer services beyond just links but are not sure what to offer. We are thinking of offering templates, turnkey sites, SEO advice, etc..

The bulk of our experience has been on the affiliate side where we took what little was offered and built our sites around it.

We are open, and would appreciate any suggestions on what services would make our program more desirable..

However, we would aslo like to know how to better ADVERTISE our program offering. Any feedback on that would be appreciated.

Aren't their about a 1000 such services in every major city doing the same with walk ins. It's nice to automate this service online as each loan advance is profitable. The kicker is how much money you guys make selling off the financial and demographic info on the apps to the telemarketers, e-mail spammers and the mortgage wanks.

    Mike & Charlie,

Yes, just as there are 1000 banks, flower shops, shoe stores, etc...

Payday loans are lucrative and not nearly as exploited as any of the vertical markets I've mentioned above.

Our experience shows that one out of every twelve unique visitors to our site submits an application. We pay on submittals and not on funded loans... very lucrative for those high traffic sites...

Also, we DO NOT sell any of the information we gather and are a tier one provider of payday loan services.

    Just joined up.

1 in 12 is pretty decent. Our best does 1 in 8.

    You offer incentive bonuses?

    soma-slim,

Since Managers are allowed to have their program info in their sigs, [REAL] participation in threads is the best way to get word of your program out without being accused of spamming

Todd, the program is doing pretty well for us. Looks like we may have hit that first incentive bonus as well.

    Nice work.
