    Can someone enlighten me?
I sat down at my wife's puter and entered my domain url. Netscape brought up a list of product links which all have my domain url in bold but link to other merchants with no path to my site! Does anyone know what's up with that? I'm totally confused. Is it Netscape or a pirate out there?

I just typed my domain into Nescape and it went right to my home page. Must be something else.

Try it without I have the same problem when I do a complete URL search in Google. A bunch of no names come up with my website in bold listed and no links to me. Then, when I drop the http from the search it works fine and goes directly to my site. If you are using any 3rd world PPC keyword serach engines, then that might be why this is happening, since they farm out the keyword ads to any Tom/Dick/or Harry that has a website directory.......

Check it out.. Drop the http and try again. Let me know..

I didn't use http: simply www.
Strangely, it now brings my site up as requested. Something is very fishy at Netscape and it may be costing me sales.

No, there is no place in my world for PPC. Again, if it needs clerification, when I entered my www. domain it brought up a list of product links. Each listed my domain address in bold but none led to my domain or to an advertiser with whom I am affiliated. They took a specific search to my site and redirected it to one or more pirates.

There are numerous such pages and a few of the listings actually link to my site but certainly none in the top 10 or twenty.

Most likely Netscape's Auto-search feature kicked in.

Did you have a leading space?
Like " 1moonbeam.com", that may have done it.

No leading space. odly, what I have discovered is that these merchants are people who have links to my site. It appears that I need to repeat my site name more often so Netscape gives me a higher ranking for my own site. Since I use my name in my META tags, and these other sites don't, I am confused as to why my actual site is listed around #20 and those with a single link (using my name) are ranked higher????????
