We are a much known high end jewelry website (jewelswarehouse.com) just like mondera.com, bluenile.com, ashford.com, diamond.com. etcβ€¦.. and we just launched a brand new affiliate program this morning with (shareasale.com) and need some help on witch is the best way to promote our affiliate and recruit the most of publishers so we both can make a good amount of money for this Christmas sessions
I would like an opinion:
1. Which works better for an affiliate program per lead flat fee or per sale commission?
We have set the commission to 6% per sale is that allot (I personally think so)?
Because on an average sale between $1000.00 to $1500.00 we are talking $60 - $90 in commission which we get allot of these sales every day (I think its high!) but my boss says we got to expand some how!
Or you think per lead flat fee will work better?
2. What should be the ideal per lead rate or per sale commission?
3. Do you think it will be nice to offer on top of the commission discount coupon ranging from $20 to $300 off on each purchase which my boss already done so?
4. What a publisher usually looks for in a merchant?
I hope there are many of you who would like to be kind to help
I am sure there are many experienced affiliate marketers and experts that would give us there suggestions

YOu need to give me a reason to move from Mondera or at the very least share my jewelry traffic...
you need to add much more incentive... give me some reason to change
Mondera has the best affiliate management team in the Jewelry niche...
Why should I change?
What makes you better?
I need more then just a large commission... I need support/tools to make my life easier..
that's my2cents, 'cuz I'm a legend in my own mind....

I earn 10%-12% off of jewelry sales.Following everyone else is a GREAT way to become average.

More importantly, how easy is it for us to get a sale? First of all, how does the consumer react to your price structure? How many Keystones?
Then, are you prepared to offer some of the tools we can get from the other merchants?
