I currently have my affiliate program with SAS and have a good affiliate manager, as well. No problems really. Problem is SAS does not allow "adult affiliates",although they are allowed to sign up, then they are turned down . I am getting a lot of feedback from sites that thought they were approved, then it turns out they were denied. My site has a logical relationship with many adult sites. I am thinking of starting an in house affiliate program to accomodate some adult sites, not all as I dont think many adult sites will convert, or send much traffic, for that matter. On the other hand I don't want to lose any mainstream affiliates.
Any way to prevent the "adult sites" from being accepted, then getting angry at being turned down?
Any thoughts as to running two affiliate programs side by side?
Pros and cons of allowing some adult sites in like chat lines, or advice sites, romance sites?
