A short time ago we were all cursing Linkshare and saying how great Sharasale was, but I don't remember Linkshare ever going down like this. How could it happen SAS??!!! Maybe Linkshare isn't so bad after all!!

I would say it could happen to anyone. I am not siding anybody but at least most of the aff here have a better word for SAS as far as honest network is concerned, as compare to any other.

In my opinion we should give them time to fix the problem keeping in mind they dont partner with any kind of parasite. Give them some benefit over others.

So what, downtime like this on occasion is far preferable to the uphill battle we must face with other networks who may be in cahoots with those who devise schemes to intercept, divert, and otherwise steal our traffic and income.

Just before the downtime, i saw my status. a few minutes after the site was up again i saw the status and i found some earnings missing. Looks like some transaction entries are lost in the process of restoring of the db

julier, speaking as a former systems administrator -- crap happens. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY has a 100% uptime record. What I deem critical is the responsiveness and technical expertise of whoever is responsible for correcting the problem. I have great faith in Brian and his team.

Affiliate links are working and things looks normal now. Thanks SAS for the quick recovery.

Looks like some transactions between 03:04.26 AM and 12:41.43 PM are missing. i typically get leads for every few minutes but none were found during this period. Any one else found missing leads/sales during?

When a final resolution is reached - we will update here... in the meantime I thank you all for your patience and you should be assured that we are working full time on the project.

As of a couple of hours ago things were restored to working order, but we are still working on the issue to clean up things that went wrong, etc...
    Thanks,

    Thanks Brian,
Now that everything is working on your side, do us a favor, call one of your merchant, http://www.cheeseandwinebaskets.com and ask them to update their links.
I can't believe these people are so dumb to change complety their website just before the busy season. Their direct links and product images are not working anymore. I can't even make my own direct links.
