My wife and I threw up a store prototype at
    http://www.elfcorp.com/shop/ using Zen Cart.

I have been advised to look into ShareASale in order to drive sales..

Do you have any suggestions on what shopping cart software integrates well with ShareASale?

How difficult would it be to start getting some affiliates to take interest in this kind of product?

    Thanks,
    Eric

    the shop looks pretty good...

ARe these handmade items by Kristine? or are they items purchased for resale...??

if they are handmade one at a time... using a network to will cause supply probelms...

as far as getting affiliates interested... that shouldn't be a problem......

one more thing... I think it's a good idea to remove linkbliss link... in this forum... it takes away from your credibility....

ShareASale should be able to integrate with Zen Cart the same way it integrates with osCommerce. There are several merchants on SAS using osCommerce.

    Eric,

I have been very happy with ShareASale and I am sure you will be too. The startup is easy, the staff is responisve (probably the best part of the ShareASale network) and the fee's are very reasonable.

However, just signing up is not going to bring the affiliates. Since our 9/10/04 launch we have 137 affiliates (my guess is that 20% singed up just "because we where there" and the rest came through emails, ads and postings).

    Best of luck,

    Thanks for the suggestions.

They are not hand-made items though re-supply comes from a friend overseas, so yes there could be supply problems.

Is there a better cart than osCommerce? Also, do you use this plug-in ?

I'll go ahead and start getting set up (first need to pick a real domain) thanks again for all you's advices.

LinkBliss, we had to choose between CJ and SAS and we went with SAS based on the feedback on ABW. We must add that SAS is not only cost effective but very affiliate friendly and the staff seems very responsive.
