Hi! I notice in a merchant's details, there are lots of abbreviations, like EPC and so on. Would you guys explain to me what are those abbreviations, and to which I should look into in oder to get a good affiliate program?

So far, how well does Shareasale fare? Has any complaint about it? Does it have any problem sending thousands of dollars of check?

    Thanks!

EPC means amount of earnings per 100 click-thrus.

Share-a-sale has been reliable with me so far.

To know if a merchant is "good" you need to take a look at their web site, do some research on them. If they pass that test, try them out for a while and see if they convert.

They only have problem sending thousands of dollars to that Location: afgfgfdg

I know that because I have seeing a few people from that Location: afgfgfdg posting only one or two times with questions around here before and they never post again, so I guess that they all went to sell hot-dogs at a near by corner in that country afgfgfdg and never had a problem getting paid.

I think ASOS.com have been doing well, their alexa ranking is now 3900ish, and alot of uk based affiliates have been making big bucks through them. I'v not seen much written about them on this forum tho.

Look out for Following points in a merchant.

    1) Commission rate
    2) Reversal Rates
    3) EPC
    4) Affiliate Support
    5) Their main website. No matter how good a program is if their website is bad they will never sell.
    6) Reliable tracking of orders even phone and chat orders(if applicable)
