I don't even know if this should be in this topic, but there's not really anywhere else I can put it... sorry
Here's the problem...
You know how these large games sites can limit the bandwidth each visitor uses, well I want to be able to set limits on a LAN where I can manipulate the data transfer so that all computers get an equall share instead of one machine getting say 70% of the data transfer and another 2 get 15% each.
Is this possible to do and if so, how do I do it?
A big thank you in advance

It is so simple, you allow
person #1 to connect @ 12.00am till 8.00 am
person #2 to connect @ 8.00am till 4.00pm
person #3 to connect @ 4.00pm till 12.00 pm
it's easy when you know a little maths

Yes Fish, there is a way to do this. The problem is though that I don't know of a way to do it yourself. This has to be done by the sysadmin with your host server. He/she can limit the bandwidth to ANY user.
