Before C.J. Shut the forums down someone had posted a new Amazon Script (like Anaconda) that could be used on multiple sites, and was only around $40. I wondered if someone could point me to that URL, and if anyone is now using this script please comment on how it is working for you.

    malibber,

    The url is http://www.cusimano.com/scripts/

I can not attest to the script as I am not familiar with it ... I do, however, know and have dealt with Kevin and Adam at http://www.anaconda.net ... and can fully "endorse" them! (FWIW)

I think original credit for finding this belongs to Webmistress, If I am not mistaken.

If you just want an Amazon search box, you can get code for that in your affiliate section at Amazon.

I'm a cgi newbie in the middle of trying to install the Cusimano script, and I'm probably going to have to break down and ask for help. I'm not sure if the problem is me being not enough of a techie, or maybe their documentation is not Mac-friendly, or maybe some of each. If I can get things working the way they are supposed to, I'll be smiling, but in the meantime I'll blame Webmistress for all my troubles!

We just recently purchased the Amazon script from David Cusimano. He answered all of our questions almost immediately... and sent step by step instructions for installing the script... (which we passed along to the person helping us build our websites.)

We are also using the Cusimano Art.com script.

Feel free to visit http://www.RapMusicPosters.com is you'd like to see a sample of how the scripts can be used.

No sales yet... we'll post again when we get Googled and let you know how its going.

Blame me? Okay, go ahead. I'm a total fan of this script by cusimano.com.

Just don't ask me to take a shower with you . I prefer bubble baths .

Actually, I haven't even gotten to the bottom of all that the script is capable of. One of my favorite uses is replacing item links from Amazon with a script link that gives my visitors a list of all that is available for a keyword phrase related to the image that would have been a product link.

Another favorite use is linking to keyword text. Interested in e-commerce software (software only search)? How about Internet marketing (blended search, beware, Z-stores links appear)?

Being the pinch penney that I am, I have like 5 domains on one basic account, so I like having the multiple site option for mulitple templates. Just make the templates, specify the site in the link code, and the results pages match your site nicely.

I have sold at Amazon. This month the average is about $10/day. That's usually about 200 unique visitors a day that I send them, and they are from less than 20 targetted pages.

I built pages based on the FOLLOW THE LEADER INSTITUTE OF INTERNET MARKETING method adapted to my inability to write good ad copy (read have to add more images), and use the script to make my life much easier. Keeping up with non-book individual product links can be dangerous for your health, so wrapping a script link around the image instead keeps me happy.

A very, very cool feature is the browse capabilities. Like this:Digital Camera Store in one line of code .

And of course, any of these options can be called with a SCRIPT tag so that the results appear on your page, sort of like the AmazonRecommends links. However, you have control of how the results look and the browse link style is not available at Amazon.

I had the Anaconda script on my wish list (it's like $200 and now has an update fee, monthly maybe?), since Robert had mentioned on the CJ boards the idea of keyword linking on content sites. I find the Cusimano script far more affordable and it fits my uses just fine. The Anaconda script keeps the viewer on your site templates until that "buy" button is hit, but the truth is that a lot of what I sold last month was nothing that I market. Let the visitor get to Amazon already and load up their shopping cart! Amazon is much better at selling than I am.

Now what would make this perfect is if I could figure out a good way of capturing some traffic through my ClickBank links to the script and earn off commissions off of my enthusiasm .

Ditto! I installed it on one of my art related sites also! Also, check this out!, I fully support them and we (ABW) are presently working with David on a few other major projects!

PS [webmistress] notice the code for the link and you'll see how to link to them with clickbank.

Okay, the next best thing would be for Haiko to make money off of my enthusiasm .

Where would I be without these boards?

    Webmistress,

PM me your Clickbank ID and I'll put it in the code (as it should be - been busy doing a few other things ) on the partners page, the other projects we are working on, I guarantee that you will be compensated for also.

I wasn't clear here. I mean that I'd like to find some nicely trafficked, low competition keywords to build myself some nice marketing pages around on my site.

I'm not interested in making money from my discussion of the amazon.pl script on the boards

I feel indebted to everyone here for their information sharing, to Haiko for hosting the boards, to David Cusimano for some really great scripts. I have learned everything from HTML to affiliate marketing techniques on the web, and my discussion board contributions are my exactly that. They are a contribution back to the very community that has given me the opportunity to earn a living in a most wonderful way!

So, sorry if it looked like I wanted to make anything off of my posts here. David long ago offered to make me my own landing page on his site with my affiliate code embedded, but I really did not, and still do not, want to earn off of my posts here.

If I want to spam, I'll choose something spammy, like my newsletter sign up. Hurry now and sign up at http://www.virtuallyignorant.com for my newsletter, because at the end of this month
I'm giving away a copy of amazon.pl in a raffle of the newsletter sign ups.

And someday I'll even send out newsletters.

Nawww, just trying to get some work done instead of hanging out on the boards .

Spiders don't see javascript. That's why I often use my script wrapped around an image and on a page with plenty of ad copy/spiderfood.

If you want tons of spiderable pages that also sell, take a look at David's allposters.pl script.(edited because the rap music posters site is made with David's art.com script, not the allposters.pl)

I just logged in to my allposters account and found a nice $77.18 worth of merchandise sold today . That's $15.44 commish. But the cool part is the pages were made with David's script, so after tweeking a few templates and choosing the categories it took all of moments to create the pages.

No lack of how to use these scripts, Austin.

    Hi, Austin!

I wasn't sure about whether the Amazon content was spidered and was checking into it. Thank you, Webmistress, for answering that question for us!

This poster site is new this month. There is a link to it on David's site so hopefully it will get spidered this time.

We are thrilled with the scripts and so thankful for David's help. We just built our second poster/amazon site this week!
