Would anyone know how to make visited links refresh on each visit?

Thanks and Love You!

Do it with CSS. here is the script, but you have to change it to your needs.

<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">A:link {
COLOR: #0000FF; TEXT-DECORATION: underline
}
A:hover {
COLOR: #990000; TEXT-DECORATION: underline
}
A:visited {
COLOR: #0000FF; TEXT-DECORATION: underline
}
A:hover {
COLOR: #990000; TEXT-DECORATION: underline
}
A:link {
COLOR: #0000FF; TEXT-DECORATION: underline
}

</pre>

Put this in the HEAD tag of the page:

(LINK href="name of CSS file" type=text/css rel=stylesheet)

This does not refresh the visited links, but it makes the links the color that you like.

Thanks austin powers, and AlexBet.

AlexBet,

What does CSS stand for, and how exactly do I write that out? Do I write it out like this:

(LINK href="name of CSS file" type=text/css rel=stylesheet)

A:link { COLOR: #0000FF; TEXT-DECORATION: underline}A:hover { COLOR: #990000; TEXT-DECORATION: underline}A:visited { COLOR: #0000FF; TEXT-DECORATION: underline}A:hover { COLOR: #990000; TEXT-DECORATION: underline}A:link { COLOR: #0000FF; TEXT-DECORATION: underline}

CSS= Cascading Style Sheet

The "(LINK href="name of CSS file" type=text/css rel=stylesheet)" goes between the HEAD and /HEAD.

Save the rest of it as a file and write the URL of that file where where Alex wrote "name of CSS file".

The file you create is called nameoffile.css
Just use notepad to put the tags/code in and save the file as a .css extension.

Thanks Rik!

I got it, but wouldn't I have achieved the same effect by making my alink and my vlink the same color?... I still don't think that I acheived what I was trying for?

Yes, with the only difference that you have the "hover" or mouseover effect included here. You can also have many other settings included.

Otherwise, use what Austin Powers suggested.

Thanks AlexBet,

But if I use the (BODY NOCACHE) tag on a affiliate site won't that mess up the cookies and tracking?

Thanks AlexBet,

That's great! Do I just put it in like this:

(BODY NOCACHE bgcolor="" background="" text="" link="" vlink="" alink="")?

Or do I put it in like this:

(BODY NOCACHE)?

HumbleFish,

I am not sure about that, Austin should tell you. You cannot have two BODY tags though.

You can also use this (I use it, in the HEAD section of your document:
(META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache")
