Can someone tell me how I do a copy/paste of a website in Dreamweaver? For instance, I was trying to update my Tiger specials page but I can only get it to copy the code not the graphics for some reason. Please help!

I don't know anything about Dreamweaver but TD serves the graphics. Can you view the page in a browser while you are online?

Cazzie's right. As far as pasting affiliate code into Dreamweaver, just right click, choose the Insert HTML option, highlight the brackets out of the pop-up, and paste the code. Even better just use the keyboard shortcut. I think it is CTRL-Shift-V to paste HTML

I tried copying it right from the site and yes I did choose copy html The only thing it's copying is the text. No coding and no graphics

Do a view source on the target page. Then copy the HTML out of that and paste it into the code view (get rid of the code that DW automatically puts in first).

That should do 'er...

oh! ok now I think I see what he's trying to do. Leader's right. If you're copying whole pages, for example with the Tiger full-page creatives, you've got to do a view source then paste it in code view in DW. I don't bother with DW for something like that; just use a good code editor like EditPlus. DONT forget to change INSERTID.

If you're just pasting link code from the link generators at into a DW page, CTRL-SHIFT-V comes in very handy.

{[/QB]<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Not anymore, we took care of that too. Just be sure you insert your affiliate Site ID in the URL after the ".asp?ID=INSERTID", once there we populate and dynamicaly refresh all your creatives....

Cool!
I'm not using them right now; not until I've got a list to send it to. Doing my "own thing" with TD these days. IMHO the space can be put to more efficient use by not posting content that is duplicated on so many other websites .

BTW - just got the latest print catalog and actually looked at it. I am much impressed!<IMG src=http://www.abestweb.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif>
