Could anyone point me in the direction of a free, or inexpensive script that would allow me to see how many visitors are on my site at the one time.

I'm looking for a perl script that displays the info using the actual script and not on the pages which the script tracks. eg. i would typ in and it would display the amount of visitors on my whole site, not on the actual web pages the visitors visit.

I was thinking of something that would use a snippet of code, placed on each of the pages, and simply track using those.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

If you have access to raw log files. I would suggest It a perl script for windows or unix. Works great and it's free. I use to use web trends and IMO awsd works even better. Easy to install too!
