This may be a basic question...
Does anyone know of an application where you can load a gif, made up of blocks of colour, and when you click in a block it shows you the RGB and/or hex code for the colour?
There seem to be lots that will let you change a colour, but I can't figure out how to tell which colours are already there so you can get a perfect match.
    Thanks..

At the very least, there are:

xv for unix/linux (http://www.trilon.com/xv/)

irfanview for win (http://www.irfanview.com)[/list]
