    Hi All

Anyone got any ideas or insight into what it would take to create a web pages based script that would Kill or move off focus other Web based pop ups created by Parasite software, I'll be getting our guys to look into it but if anyone here has some lead on this please let me know

    Cheers

I'm also thinking something server side might do the trick too but as the action is not created from the targeted servers it will need something that can detect the creation of a new browser sesson and terminate or "off" focus that browser session.... lots to work on next week

    Cheers

I would guess you can do something with the onBlur javascript command, but I haven't investigated.

If it's a new browser application, no way, not without a real application running on the clients machine.

But if its just a new session, maybe. The killer must be a Javascript function in that case, because it has to be executed on the clients machine. It will have to be very specific, that it's not killing other browser sessions and that will be the problem. Parasites could discuise themself very easily to pretent, that they are "okay".

I think Gator opens a new Brower application, but parasites, that trigger a popup only based on websites you are visiting only don't do that.
However, they will, if somebody can write a script, that's knocks them off.
