    How can you get the link to open in a new window?

    Here's a great code that also controls frames as well.

    <head>
    <!-- Provided By: <http://www.DesignerWiz.com> -->
    <!-- Development Resource & JavaScript Public Archive & Generator Center -->
    <script>
    function DropDownMenu(entered)
    {with (entered) {
    ref=options[selectedIndex].value;
    splitcharacter=ref.lastIndexOf("&");
    if (splitcharacter!=-1) {loc=ref.substring(0,splitcharacter); target=ref.substring(splitcharacter+1 ,1000).toLowerCase();}
    else {loc=ref; target="_blank";};
    lowloc=loc.toLowerCase();

    // Skip the rest of this function if the selected optionvalue is "false".
    if (lowloc=="false") {return;}

    // Open link in current document
    if (target=="_self") {document.location=loc;}

    // Cancel eventual framesets and open link in current window
    else {if (target=="_top") {top.location=loc;}

    // Open link in new window
    else {if (target=="_blank") {window.open(loc);}

    // Open link in parent frame
    else{if (target=="_parent") {parent.location=loc;}

    // Open link in the specified frame
    else {parent.frames[target].location=loc;};

    }}}}}

    </script>

    <body>
    <form method="post">
    <select name="D1" size="1" onChange="DropDownMenu(this)" class="hexfield">
    <option selected value="false">Select</OPTION>
    <option value="#"></option>
    <option value="#"></option>
    <option value="#"></option>
    <option value="#"></option>
    <option value="#"></option>
    <option value="#"></option>
    </SELECT></FORM>

    BTW: You do not need this line [ class="hexfield" ] in your body form method. This was our CSS file class for coloring the dropdown.

    whoopppssss .. we had drop down menu on mind.

    Here's your request:

    Head:
    <script language="javascript">
    <!-- http://www.DesignerWiz.com Development Resource & JavaScript Public Archive & Generator Center -->
    var win = null;
    function NewWindow(mypage,myname,w,h,scroll){
    LeftPosition = (screen.width) ? (screen.width-w)/2 : 0;
    TopPosition = (screen.height) ? (screen.height-h)/2 : 0;
    settings =
    'height='+h+',width='+w+',top=0,'+TopPosition+',left='+LeftPosition+',scrollbars='+scroll+',resizable'
    win = window.open(mypage,myname,settings)
    }
    </script>

    Body Link:

    <a href="javascript:void(0);" onClick="window.open('http://designerwiz.com', 'WizWindow', 'toolbar=no,location=no,directories=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,copyhistory=yes,width=790,height=535,top=0,left=0')" title="this is title">Visible Text As Link</a>
