I am working on a particular form on my site. I have forms down fairly well, but there is one thing I'm not clear on how to do.
Typically on a form, the user enters information thus filling out the form. One of the fields I need to be pre-filled and cannot be changed by the visitor. I do need that information passed along with the form, even though the user cannot change or edit the field. For clarification, here is an example.
Form #1 will have information based on a particluar product. The form would be something like
Product Name: Product A (this value should not be editable by the customer)
Product Name: Product B (again, cannot be changed)
I know I can drop that field from the form and just have it as regular text, but how can I then pass that value with the rest.
I'm sure it is done with a hidden value but I do not know the proper syntax to do that.

Make it a hidden field.
<input type='hidden' name='bla' value='whatever'>
The user can not see it and it gets passed, when the form gets submitted.
