Is anyone aware of a cheap script (or better yet - free!) that would allow me to create a double opt-in email list via a form on my web site?

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

Unfortunately, none of those scripts allows the option of a double opt-in process, which I need. Thanks anyway, though.

    Anyone else?

Auto Follow Up is a $30 sequential autoresponder, but the docs explain how you can do double opt-in with it and you can mail all subscribers just like an ezine.

I haven't been using it for long, but it set up easy and works fine. It looks like its an expanded version of an autoresponder script that is sold with resale rights so if you look for autoresponders in the usual script sites you'll see the same admin demo cropping up. That one is sold for as little as $7 but I can't comment on how well it works.

I actually run several mailing lists with autoresponders - it means everyone gets a series of "classic" on-topic messages after they subscribe and then ad-hoc editions when I have something to add.

Hayder - I just wanted to say thanks for the link. After some time getting things changed to how I needed them, the script you listed works great. It is exactly what I need and the price is as good as it gets. Thanks again!

CrazyGuy - thanks for your suggestion.
